I've only just returned from holiday so I haven't had a chance to reply to the Jean Sullivan letter. Has anyone else responded to it?
Marshall Tufflex have written to the Council in support of ASDA. Their letter was received on 24th July and is published on the UK Planning website - http://www.ukplanning.com/ukp/showCaseFile.do?councilName=Hastings+Borough+Council&appNumber=HS/FA/08/00378
Obviously, it was received long after the Council deadline and this would suggest that Walmart Asda are a little worried about the flood of objections compared to 4 or 5 comments in favour. They seem to have rallied support as Jean Sullivan wrote to the Observer in support of Asda and Marshall Tufflex wrote to the Council in the same week.
