Further to the increased traffic problems that would be caused by ASDA setting up a store in the Silverhill area (old Marshall Tufflex site), I predict that roads like Duke Road, Silverlands Road, Perth Road and Payton Road would be used as short cuts (rat-runs) for all traffic destined to the new store from areas like Eversley Crescent, Vale Road and the King Edward Avenue. Payton Road has a vehicle weight restriction on through traffic, but this is constantly ignored by delivery drivers, heading towards or from Menzies Road.
